Express Entry draw – Sep 28, 2022

A new Express Entry round of invitations has taken place today, 3750 candidates received their ITA (Invitation to Apply) to permanent residency, with the lowest CRS score invited being 504.

This draw had 500 additional ITAs when compared to the last round of invitations (which is being a trend since August), and the score was reduced by 6 points. While it may not seem much, the score was 557 when the no program specified draws started again, so it’s been decreasing and getting closer to less than 500.

The number of candidates in the pool on Sep 26, 2022, which had scores between 500-600 was less than 4500- back in July 2022, there were over 9000 candidates in this same score range, which shows how the retaking of rounds of invitations for all programs had made a difference.

Province immigration programs are still active, so there will be still new candidates with scores of over 600 to replace the ones that are getting their ITAs now, but the score will continue to drop.
